This poster is in favor of the FRELIMO party in Mozambique, which based its policies on communist ideals. From 1977 to 1992, the FRELIMO and the anti-communist party RENAMO were engaged in a civil war. FRELIMO is the leading political party in Mozambique today, now a democratic state. At the bottom of the poster is a quote from Samora Michel, first president of Mozambique from the FRELIMO party.
